Questions, answered.

Everything Swiss operators ask us before — and after — they switch. Can’t find it here? We’re one message away.

Getting started

How long does it take to switch to CampOne?

Usually about two weeks. We migrate your bookings, guests and pricing, configure your site and train your team — you are taking real reservations inside a fortnight.

Do I need technical skills to run it?

No. If you can use a smartphone, you can run CampOne. Onboarding includes training, and support is a click away whenever you need a hand.

Can I keep my own website?

Either way works. Use the fast campsite website included with every plan, or embed the CampOne booking widget into a site you already have — availability stays in sync.

What happens to my existing bookings when I migrate?

We bring them across for you. Your current reservations, guest records and pricing are migrated before go-live, so nothing is lost and the season carries on uninterrupted.

What if I run more than one site?

The Network plan manages many locations from one place, with central reporting, cross-site benchmarks and role-based access for every team.

Swiss compliance

Does CampOne handle HESTA and tourist tax?

Yes, automatically. Guest data flows straight into HESTA reporting, and tourist tax is calculated and settled per municipality — no manual forms, no follow-ups.

Is CampOne compliant with the revised Swiss data-protection law?

Yes. CampOne is built to the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP): data is minimised, consent is explicit, retention is time-bound and every access is logged.

Can it produce a Swiss QR-Bill?

Every invoice is issued as a compliant Swiss QR-Bill, in the guest’s language, with a payment reference that reconciles back to the booking automatically.

Does it report to my canton and municipality?

Guest records are captured in exactly the shape your canton and the Federal Statistical Office require, so cantonal statistics and municipal tourist-tax settlements come straight from your bookings.

Pricing & billing

How much does CampOne cost?

Plans start at CHF 150 per month billed yearly, plus a one-time onboarding fee. See the pricing page for the full breakdown and what each plan includes.

Is there a setup or onboarding fee?

Yes — a one-time onboarding fee covers migration, configuration and training. It is shown per plan on the pricing page, so there are no surprises.

Are there commissions on bookings?

No. Direct bookings through CampOne carry no per-booking commission — you keep the margin that OTAs would otherwise take.

Can I cancel or change plans?

Yes. You can move between plans as your site grows, and there is no long lock-in. We would rather earn the renewal each season.

Data & security

Where is my data stored?

Exclusively in Swiss data centres. CampOne is built to the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP), and your guests’ data never leaves Switzerland.

How is my data protected?

Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.3 and data is encrypted at rest with AES-256. Access is role-based, every action is logged, and backups run daily.

What happens to guest data over time?

Records are kept for the legally required period and then deleted automatically. Guests can request erasure at any time, and we honour it.

Who can see my guests’ information?

Only the people you authorise, and only what their role needs. Reception, finance and owner permissions are separate, and every account is individually revocable.

Features & integrations

Can guests pay with TWINT and Swiss QR-Bill?

Yes — TWINT, Swiss QR-Bill, cards, PostFinance, bank transfer and LSV. Every payment reconciles back to the booking automatically.

Does CampOne connect to my accounting software?

It exports to bexio, sevDesk, Abacus and DATEV, so paid invoices flow into your books without re-typing.

Can I sell through Booking.com and other channels?

Yes. CampOne syncs availability and rates with Booking.com, Google Hotels, ACSI and PiNCAMP, so channels never double-book a pitch.

Does it work with barriers and smart locks?

CampOne connects to Nuki, Salto and number-plate barriers like Schranken.de, so checked-in guests get through the gate without staff at the desk.

Is there an API for custom integrations?

Yes — a documented REST API and webhooks give you programmatic access to bookings, guests, pitches and invoices, plus a Zapier connector for no-code automation.
